Tri-Fitness Challenge ~Fitness Routines

   

The athlete will perform a maximum 2-minute routine. They will be judged on strength moves, flexibility, endurance, choreography and overall performance and presentation.

Each routine must consist of at least 2 Strength and 2 Flexibility moves. Routines may include aerobics, gymnastics, cheerleading, martial arts or other demonstrations of athletic talents. Props are allowed, but athlete must be able to carry their prop on and off stage.

The stage will consist of a 20′ x 40′ area. A professional/cushioned gymnastic spring floor will used for all competitions!

The scoring will be done on a 10 point system. The high and low scores will be dropped and the overall score will be based on the average of the remaining scores.

 
 

Fitness Skills consist of the following: 

 

Box Jumps

This event will be performed using a 20 inch box.The athletes will jump 50 repetitions.Both feet must land on top of the box. This is a timed event. If you are over the age of ’45′ you are allowed to step/run them.

Obstacle Course

 
The Obstacle Course is the ultimate test for any athlete.

  • The course is comprised of:
  • A 10 foot Wall
  • Running Grid
  • Incline/Decline MonkeyBars
  • Balance Beam
  • 15 foot Cargo Net
  • Shuttle Run
  • 3 Hurdles
  • Steeple chase/box
  • Under 
  •  Over Bar
  • SPRINT to the finish line!

The competition is either 150 yards .The scoring will be done on the 10 point system. The athlete’s time will be subtracted from 200 and divided by 16 to get a final score.

 

 

 

 

Grace and Physique

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Grace and Physique Round is an Optional Round. An athlete does not have to participate in this separate event. The scoring of this event will not be used in the Tri-Fitness scoring. Separate awards and cash prizes will be given for the competition.

 

 

The athlete will present themselves to the judges in a 2-piece swimsuit with clear heels. The judges will score each athlete by assessing the degree of feminie firmness, symmetry, proportion, overall physical appearance, poise and presentation. Over muscularity and bodybuilding type poses will result in deductions.
